Event Spotter – Terms and Conditions

1. Overview of the Service

Event Spotter is a social platform that allows users to:

• Share and view real-time videos and photos from events ("Live Snap").
• Connect, follow, and interact with others in a community discussion space ("Community").

The App is designed to help users discover what’s happening around them and engage with live event experiences.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Event Spotter.

If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate information, including your name and email.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.

If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify us immediately at info@eventspotter.co.

4. User Content

You may post, upload, or share videos, photos, comments, and other content ("User Content").

By posting content on Event Spotter, you agree that:

• You own or have rights to share the content.
• You grant Event Spotter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the app for operational and promotional purposes.
• You will not post harmful, illegal, or infringing content, including hate speech, harassment, nudity, or misinformation.

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• Post content that is obscene, defamatory, or violates others’ rights.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s operation, servers, or networks.
• Attempt to access another user’s account without permission.

Any violation may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, designs, trademarks, and software related to Event Spotter are the property of Event Spotter LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written permission from Event Spotter LLC.

7. Third-Party Services

Event Spotter integrates with Firebase and Google Analytics for authentication, analytics, and performance. Your use of these services is subject to their respective privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time within the App or by contacting info@eventspotter.co.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you: Violate these Terms, engage in misuse, harassment, or abuse of other users, or harm the reputation or functionality of the platform. Termination may result in deletion of your content and loss of access to the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Event Spotter App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of content, or error-free performance.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Event Spotter LLC is not liable for any damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or other indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the App.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Event Spotter LLC, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages arising from: Your violation of these Terms, or your content or activity within the App.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. Updates will take effect immediately upon posting in the App. Continued use of Event Spotter after updates means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
